The Purple Leopard Dart Frog is a very poisonous species of frog. These live in damp forested areas and feed off of small insects. As a defense mechanism, they will charge at larger predators and secrete poisonous spores to protect their homes and nests. These poisonous spores will land on creatures, attach to their skin, fur, or clothes and slowly release poison which causes a largly varying array of symptoms. The most common affect of the poison is weakness and paralysis, which leads prey susceptible to other predators.
